Jack Whitney

Jack Whitney started climbing when he was 3 years old because his dad started a climbing program in his middle school. Jack started competing at the age of 12 at local competitions. Since then his most notable achievements are winning youth speed nationals and coming third at Youth Western Canadian Boulder Regionals. Jack also placed fourth at Open Speed Nationals twice as well as representing Canada at Youth World Championships in Texas and Seoul. Jack has represented Canada at an open men’s world Cup in Salt Lake City. Most recently, he placed second at a North American Cup Series event held in Vancouver.
Jack lives in Victoria training and working at the Boulders climbing gym and attending the University of Victoria.
