Kindar McNamee
Kindar McNamee is a Canadian competitive rock climber. He lives in Vancouver, BC. He has been climbing since he was nine years old. He started with a youth program at Cliffhanger. From there, he joined a competitive team. He competed at youth comps, winning locally and even nationally. The second year he was eligible for Open comps, he came second at Open Lead Nationals. He was invited to World Cups. That summer, he attended two World Cups in France - Briançon and Chamonix. During his career, he has made many accomplishments including being a North American Lead Champion, being the Open National Lead Champion, coming second at Open Boulder Nationals, and coming third at the Youth Pan-American Champions for lead in 2017. Kindar has also attended many World Cups. He is twenty-one years old, and with his determination and passion for the sport, he is excited to see how much more he can accomplish.
