Meet Matthew "MattyP" Piilo, a rising star in the climbing world. Formerly a competitive video game player and baker, MattyP made the bold decision in 2020 at the age of 24 to dedicate himself towards becoming the best climber in the world.

Honing his skills at the Hangout Climbing Center on Vancouver Island, MattyP has earned the impressive rank of 63rd in Canada on the 2019 Moonboard. In just four years, he achieved remarkable feats, conquering the Moonboard with a successful ascent of V10 and leading routes up to 5.12D.
